Plan Your Visit

Here you will discover a warm group of real people dedicated to following our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

What to Expect

Where do I go?

Parking Lots

  • Our primary lot is located beside the main building and behind The Well. Other parking lots are at The Well, The Warehouse, and across the railroad tracks next to the playground.

West Rome has three buildings on campus.

  • Our main building is the brick building with the steeple. This is where you’ll find the Worship Center, all children’s groups birth-6th grade, and some adult Life Groups.
  • The Well is the storefront facing Shorter Avenue. On Sundays, most adult Life Groups meet here. On Wednesdays during the academic year, it hosts a churchwide dinner at 5:00p and groups at 6:00p.
  • The Warehouse is the metal building across Sheridan Drive. It hosts our youth group on Wednesday nights and on Sunday mornings.

Entrance Doors
  • To check in your children or to visit the Welcome Center, use the covered glass entrance at the main building.
  • To enter the back of the Worship Center, use the ramp entrance on the side of the main building.

What should I expect?

The worship gatherings at West Rome include music and a message. Music is led by our worship leaders and a live band. The messages are always driven from scripture and typically include practical insight and application for our lives today.

Each gathering lasts approximately 70 minutes.

When should I arrive?

You should plan on arriving at least 15 minutes prior. This gives you time to use the restroom, check in your children to their classrooms, and to locate a seat in the Worship Center.

You’ll be greeted at the entrance doors by volunteers who will gladly help answer any questions you might have. Also, feel free to visit the Welcome Center in the main hallway before or after worship services!

What do I wear?

Put simply, wear what makes you comfortable! You might see a few ties and dresses, but you’ll likely see hoodies or shorts, too, depending on the season.

What about my kids?

At West Rome, we’re blessed to host many families of differing sizes and ages. Our children’s ministries – both Preschool and Kids – are designed for ages birth through 6th grade. Your kids will find age appropriate toys, activities, Bible lessons, and experienced volunteers to help them feel welcomed and engaged.

For their security and your peace of mind, we employ a digital check in system for each child. If it’s your first time, don’t worry – a volunteer will help you get checked in. Upon check in, you’ll receive a printed name sticker for each child and a parent tag with matching codes. When picking up your children, a volunteer will ensure that the tag codes match before releasing the child.
