Our life group hosts a plethora of ages from young couples in their early 20s to married couples in their upper 30s, but the only true requirement for our group is to be hungry for the Word (and thirsty for Coke Zero). Come and join us as we seek to dive deep into the Word and discover not only what it says but how we can be the embodiment of disciples making disciples as Jesus commands us in the various commissioning statements found in Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and Acts. 

Co-Leaders: We are the Futrals! Ryan, Maribeth, Jonah (10), Kinsley (7), and Lyla Grace (expected to be here in May 2025). We have been attending West Rome for several years, but when we realized simply attending wasn’t enough, we decided to launch our life group in order to become connected to our wonderful community at West Rome! Outside of church and life group, our family loves playing pickleball, games, and visiting amusement parks! 

Co-Leaders: We are the Watters! Jake, Leslie, Chance (3), and Linley (2). We have been attending West Rome since 2022, and it didn’t take us long to realize that we needed more than the casual church attendance. We actually visited a Life Group and decided it must not be for us. One of our friends encouraged us to try it out again, and we are so glad we did. Once we broke through our own silence and decided to participate is when we began to see why groups are so important. We discovered that a part of surrendering fully to Christ is to step outside of your comfort zone and surround yourself with accountability partners and friends that will support you in your journey through this crazy thing called life. Life Group is a perfect example of doing just that!
