Jarrod has been on staff since 2002 and has been serving as Sr. Pastor since 2008. He loves helping people follow Jesus and experience an intimate relationship with Him. He received his Sports Management degree from Texas A&M and his Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, both a long time ago. He loves spending time with his bride, Tiffany, and his three daughters and son-in-law. He loves Rome and is always looking forward to what God does next!
Topher has been on staff since 2011 and has served in multiple roles over the past 15 years. He is passionate about teaching, missions, and helping people take the next step in their spiritual and leadership journey.
Tommy has been on staff at West Rome Baptist Church since 2026. His heart is to help people follow Jesus through meaningful discipleship and compassionate pastoral care. He is passionate about helping people grow in God’s Word, experience genuine biblical community, and take their next steps in faithfully following Christ. Before coming to West Rome, Tommy and his family served in missions in Zambia.
After serving the Lord vocationally for over 53 years, Pastor Mark “retired” and joined our ministry staff as a volunteer in January 2026. Pastor Mark leads our retiree and seniors’ ministry, called “Fourth Quarter Ministries.” Pastor Mark loves serving alongside this wonderful group of people!
When Pastor Mark is not serving here at West Rome, he can be found spending time with his wife, Joyce, and their family who live nearby.
Christel has been on staff since 2019 and loves serving behind the scenes to support the work God is doing through the church. With a heart for helping others, she is passionate about supporting other staff members, caring for the details that keep the church connected, and welcoming those who walk through the doors. Outside of ministry, Christel enjoys traveling and can often be found camping in the mountains.
Leya is the Executive Assistant to our Senior Pastor and Pastor of Adult Ministries. She has been in various ministry roles for over 20 years and loves serving alongside her husband, Topher, especially in college ministry and international missions. Leya & Topher have 2 nearly grown kids – Drew and Asher.
Tyler has been on staff since 2024. With a heart for investing in the next generation, Tyler is passionate about making disciples who make disciples while equipping students to know Jesus deeply and live out their faith boldly. Outside of ministry, he is always down for some family time or disc golf!
Jo has been on staff since 2018, and loves to watch these teenagers grow! She is passionate about discipleship and equipping the saints for the work of ministry (Ephesians 4:11-12). Ministry is a family deal for her, her husband, David, and her three kiddos- who love getting to hang with the big kids sometimes!
Makenzie loves pouring out to the younger generation. Her passion is for students to have a personal relationship with Jesus that goes beyond the walls of the church. She desires for each student to feel known and valued. Makenzie especially loves watching the girls in the youth group slowly but surely become the women of God they were created to be.
Tiffany has served on staff in the Children’s Ministry since 2014 and was honored to step into the role of Children’s Minister in 2019. Her passion is helping kids engage with God’s Word, grow in their faith, and feel empowered to share, serve, and love the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength because following Jesus is an amazing journey! Tiffany enjoys quality family time, an occasional game of pickleball, and usually whatever adventure brings laughter and fun!
Courtney has been on staff since 2019 and is passionate about connecting with families and guiding them in their faith journey together. She believes it’s never too early to start teaching kids about Jesus, helping to instill values that will shape their lives. As Proverbs 22:6 (CSB) reminds us, “Start a youth out on his way; even when he grows old he will not depart from it.”
Hannah came on staff in 2019 as the preschool ministry assistant, and in 2021 she moved into the Preschool Minister role. She is passionate about ministry because she is able to love little ones and pray for them from their first breath, and walk with their mamas and families through this season of life and discipleship. More than anything, Hannah loves her calling as wife and mama of 4!
Mark has been on staff since March of 2025. He has 30 years of Facility Management experience and really enjoys the daily challenges that it all entails. To be able to serve at WRBC and do what he loves, is an amazing blessing for him and his family.
Outside of work, my greatest joy is time with my family. I cherish every moment spent with my husband, Frank, our five children, and our granddaughter.
Rachel has served on staff at West Rome Baptist Church since 2025 as part of the Marketing & Communications team. She loves using photography and creativity to tell the stories of what God is doing in and through the church. Outside of work, Rachel enjoys music, serving on the worship team, spending time with her husband, drinking coffee, and growing in her relationship with Jesus.
