We know that foundations that are formed during the first few years of a child’s life will shape his or her future. At West Rome Baptist Church we want to come alongside parents and equip them to provide their children with Biblical foundations that will allow them to raise their children to be followers of God.
On Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM your preschooler will meet in growth groups with age appropriate Bible lessons and craft time. We use First Look curriculum. Then, at 10:30 AM your child (ages three through Kindergarten) will meet in their classrooms and travel through a fun, rotation type schedule, that centers around their story of the day. During this time the little ones are loved on, rocked and are playing safely in their rooms.
On Sunday evening's from 6-7:30 PM your child will be involved in our "Remix" program. This is a recap of what the children have learned on Sunday morning but in a different and exciting way.
On Wednesday nights from 6-7:30, we will be continuing with our new Preschool program called "Wonderful Wednesday". We use Jesus Story Book Bible curriculum. This is geared toward making Bible stories come to life through crafts and other hands on activities.

Safety and Security Priorities
The Preschool Ministry wants to provide the safest environment possible. We have a computer check-in system located in the preschool area as well as the breezeway to securely check in your children birth through 6th grade. You will receive a nametag for your child as well as a corresponding security tag to pick up your child. A child will only be released to an adult who returns the corresponding security tag. This will insure your child's safety and the safety of all children in our care.
Pagers are available for first time guests or nursing mothers who feel they may need to be contacted during the time their child is in our care. Ask the coordinator in the preschool area for assistance with a pager.
The ministry to children with special needs is a vital part of helping all families find and follow God's plan. We have volunteers available to assist your child in their age appropriate classroom on Sunday mornings, Sunday nights, and Wednesday nights. Pagers are available for parents.
In order to best help your child we ask that you fill out the following registration form prior to your first visit. We would also like to set up a time to give you a tour of the children's area and meet your child before your first visit if possible. This will allow you and your child an opportunity to ask questions and become familiar with a new environment while giving us the opportunity to connect with your family. Also, for your convenience, there is an elevator available in order to get to all the children's ministry areas in grades 1-6.
Contact Ashley Kirby at (706) 936-0947 or firstname.lastname@example.org to set up a time to tour the building or if you have any questions.
